Regional Center for Technical Education |
Established Fall 2011, NC-NET’s Regional Center for Technical Education is led by Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh. The Center will focus on developing resources that meet the unique professional development needs of technical education faculty. A primary focus for the center is the creation of the BOLTS professional development certificate program. The BOLTS (Blended Online Learning Teaching Strategies) program will support CTE instructors in creating high-quality, interactive and engaging courses that leverage their vast industry experience and expertise. Announcements about activities and newly developed resources from the Center will be shared with each NCCCS college through the NC-NET campus liaison network.
