Student Learning Outcomes, Active Learning Strategies and Authentic Assessment: Weaving It All Together
Led by Dr. Pat Akers, P.A. Training Solutions

Effective teaching requires more than simple transmission of information. It requires writing effective student learning outcomes, designing and using engaging teaching strategies, and evaluating the use of various assessment techniques. Participants in this 4-hour interactive workshop will be introduced to a model for weaving together those concepts using tools and processes. This model will provide for “closing the loop” in curriculum to foster accountability and to provide for improvements in teaching and learning.
